VVP Business Operations Manager

William Hitchcock is a dedicated soccer professional with a strong blend of academic achievement, playing experience, and operational expertise. He holds a Master’s degree in Sports Leadership from Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU), ranked among the top 10 programs globally, and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration Management from the same institution. During his time at VCU, William was a five-year player and two-year captain for the Division I Men’s Soccer Team, demonstrating leadership both on and off the field.

Experience

William currently serves as Business Operations Manager for VirtualVeep and the USL2 team, Hill City FC, where he supports organizational strategy and operational management for multiple soccer clubs. He has also contributed as a coach at FC Richmond and previously with the Richmond Kickers, applying his expertise to develop players at various competitive levels.

His professional experience extends to sports operations and marketing, including roles as a Support Assistant/Intern at EXOS Sports, an intern at Playbook Management International, a Graduate Assistant for VCU Athletics Marketing, and a Marketing and Game Day Operations Intern with Annapolis Blues FC. In each role, William has combined operational insight with his passion for soccer to enhance organizational performance and fan experiences.

Playing Career

William’s soccer journey began at age three and includes notable affiliations with FC Dallas Academy, Solar Academy, Denton Diablos (NPSL National Champions), Annapolis Blues FC, and Virginia Commonwealth Rams (D1 College Soccer). His extensive playing background informs his coaching and operational expertise, allowing him to approach club management with a player-centered perspective.

William brings a unique combination of leadership, operational skill, and on-field experience to every project, fostering growth and success for players, clubs, and communities alike.
