VVP of Business Operations

Eleni Hitchcock is a sports operations professional with experience in Business Operations, Community Relations, and Event and Gameday Management. Driven by a passion for growing the world’s game, she is dedicated to helping professional soccer clubs build strong brand awareness, deepen community relationships, and deliver exceptional experiences for supporters.

In her role as VVP of Business Operations, Eleni focuses on organizational growth, strengthening community engagement, and ensuring operational excellence across all club initiatives. Her work centers on aligning business strategy with fan experience, creating environments where both the club and its community can thrive.

Experience

Eleni currently serves as VVP of Business Operations for VirtualVeep, Business Operations Coordinator for Lubbock Matadors SC, and supports Business Operations for Playbook Management International and ProRel Soccer Ventures. She has played an integral role in the successful launches of Lubbock Matadors SC and Annapolis Blues FC, contributing to foundational operational systems, event execution, and community integration.

Her professional background includes experience with D.C. United as a Ticket Sales and Service Intern and with Learfield Sports as a Support Assistant. She also served as the Merchandise Coordinator for both the Fort Worth Vaqueros and the Denton Diablos, overseeing retail operations and gameday merchandise execution. Eleni began working in soccer at the age of 16, supporting gameday operations for the Fort Worth Vaqueros and Denton Diablos, building a strong foundation in event management and club operations early in her career.

Education

Eleni earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Texas Tech University with concentrations in Sport Management, General Business, and Psychology.
